Lunatide
Moon, sun and tide rhythm, computed offline.
The moon and the sea keep a schedule older than any calendar. Lunatide puts that schedule in your pocket and works it out on the device itself, with no signal, no tracking and no account. Pick a place and the app draws the sky: the moon's phase as a precise glowing disc with its exact illuminated percentage, waxing or waning, and the times it rises and sets.

Step through the days
Alongside the moon you get sunrise, sunset and the length of the day, plus an approximate tide rhythm — the familiar two highs and two lows that follow the moon across the sky — drawn as a smooth curve with its turning points marked.
Move forward and back through the dates to plan a fishing trip, a night walk or a photograph of the full moon clearing the horizon. The month view shows every day as a tiny moon, so new and full stand out at a glance, and any date opens to its full breakdown.
Wherever you are
Save as many locations as you like, from the built-in list of cities or by typing a latitude and longitude, and everything recomputes at once. Switch between English and Turkish, choose 12- or 24-hour time, and carry the whole almanac offline.
An honest "about the calculations" page sits inside the app: the astronomy uses well-established formulas, and the figures are careful approximations. Tides especially are a rhythm guide rather than local heights, because real coastlines shape water in ways no formula captures.

Rhythm, not a tide table. Never plan swimming, diving, a boat trip or a walk across a sandbank on the strength of this app. For anything where the water matters, use official tide tables and local harbour information, and watch the sea rather than the screen. In Türkiye and across the EU, emergencies are 112, and at sea in Türkiye the Coastal Safety emergency line is 158.

The tides are stealing the day
Every tide drags a bulge of water against the planet's spin, and friction bleeds rotation away: the day is getting longer, the moon is drifting outward, and the effect is measurable. Lunar laser ranging gives the moon about 3.8 cm of recession a year, and the day lengthens by roughly two milliseconds a century. Wind that back and the deep past looks strange.
Devonian corals laid down daily growth bands, and tidal rhythmites in ancient sandstone recorded the same thing: around 400 million years ago a year held roughly 400 days of about 22 hours. At two milliseconds a century the arithmetic lands on 403 days of 21.8 hours, which is a fossil and a formula agreeing to within a percent.
What's not here: no phase for tonight, no rise and set times, no tide curve for your coast. This is deep time, not this week, and the moon distance is a deliberately naive straight line: the real recession rate depends steeply on distance and on where the continents sat, which is why running this formula back far enough puts the moon inside the Earth at an age older than the Earth. Tonight's sky is the app's job.
